The Old Stables Wedding Venue

What can I say!! Just a massive thank you to you all! My now husband and I found this venue 3 years ago when we first got engaged and knew we needed to get married here! At first meeting with Naomi she was professional, knowledgable and very creative. We then had two postponements of our wedding since that booking and again Naomi helped us through it all with so much support. Finally we got to say I do on Friday and what a day it was! The day before I was very stressed and stretched thin that Naomi told me to go get some food do what I need to do and come back later she will get some of the venue decorated for me. I came back that evening and she had pretty much decorated the entire venue and I was amazed at how good it looked! On the day you helped me get into my trainers, you were our master of ceremonies for the day and I honestly cannot thank you enough! You and the team Naomi have been incredible and will forever cherish all that you did for us! Thank you thank you Thank you! ☺️❤️

Where do I begin? First of all, thank you for the most amazing day! We had our wedding reception here on Thursday 8th August and it was incredible! Naomi and the team were so accommodating and made sure that the day ran smoothly. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and commented on how stunning the grounds were and how great the staff were! We loved that you made efforts to make the day so special for us, especially our surprise dessert with Harry Potter spells written in chocolate sauce! Where do I start? Back in 2015 we met up with Lee to discuss the possibility of having The Old Stables as our reception venue. As soon as we walked in we just knew it was the place. We signed the dotted lines and away we went. Nearer the time we sorted the plans with Amy, the wedding organiser. How incredible is she? She's amazing. Nothing was too much a bother for her and anything we wanted to do or change was done. The wedding day came round so very quickly, I the nervous bride went along the night before to decorate the venue with my maids and mum, where Amy and Naomi were there to help us along. I left feeling very content and I knew I had nothing to worry about. On arrival on the day the welcome was wonderful. We even collared Amy for some snaps with us, even though she stated 'you don't want me in them'.. yes we Did! She was just as much a part of our day as we were. Without Amy the day wouldn't have gone to plan, she truly is amazing and an incredible asset to The Old Stables. One to treasure there guys! The staff throughout the day/evening were attentive and very well mannered. We couldn't have asked for better staff. The food, well.. wow! Out of this world. Every guest commented on how nice each piece of food was. Worth every penny spent and every minute of worry. The venue is perfect, the grounds are out of this world and the staff are amazing. Thank you to Amy, Naomi, the staff, the chef, Lee, Jay and the family for helping, create and give us the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend you all enough and we cannot wait to come back... As soon as the children's baptism is booked, we shall be back! As for in years to come... We shall renew our vows and again, be back!Love to all you at The Old Stables!! Just the most amazing wedding venue that we could have asked for. We had the perfect weather on May 5th to enjoy the stunning setting and grounds. Nothing was too much to ask, no matter how small or big. All of the amazing little touches made the day better than we could have ever dreamed of. Amy and Naomi were absolutely awesome, greeting us on arrival and on always on hand to help all of our guests and ourselves. No matter how much we write here, I don't think we could ever fully explain how much we loved our experience with The Old Stables! Both Amy and Naomi were amazing to work with and just knew exactly what we were looking for; we wanted a completely laid back wedding and they delivered just that for us. Everything from the planning through to the day at the stables, was just so perfect. We delivered all of our decorations the day before and couldn't believe how beautifully they had been set up by the team, we were so impressed! Food and drink throughout the day was incredible (we went for the BBQ option and pizza in the eve) and so many of our guests commented not only on the quality of the food but the smoothness of everything throughout our time there. It truly was the most amazing day for us and we would recommend the location and the fab wedding planners to absolutely anyone. Thank you for making our wedding day so immensely special!

Simply perfect in every way, from the food to the venue and staff! We recently celebrated our wedding reception here and had the BEST day, it was more than we could of wished for. It’s intimate setting and picturesque nature made it just that, along with the fantastic food and service. The team were on hand to help with every step and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a stunning venue, without the huge price tag - excellent value for money. The outdoor area is a huge bonus as well and can be utilised for pictures, socialising or outdoor games to entertain your guests. Finally we’d like to say a big thank you to Naomi, Abbie & the rest of the team for making our day so special - you guys are amazing!!
