We looked at a number of different venues who all seemed to tell us what we could and couldn't do! Our minds were made up about the Guildhall the minute we saw it; we felt it had history and character, offered us a blank canvas and we could use our own suppliers. The staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. We were able to set everything up the day before, which was a bonus. We would highly recommend getting married in the Court Room and having a reception in The Delf. 5 stars to everyone at the Guildhall who helped to make our day so very special!"

About Ancient Court Room
Situated in the Ancient Cinque Port of Sandwich, the distinctive 16th century Court Room, with its oak panelling and stained-glass windows, offers an atmospheric and unique venue for Weddings or Civil Partnership Ceremonies for up to 60 guests.
With a choice of historic and modern reception rooms, the Guildhall can accommodate up to 200 guests and offers an opportunity for a perfectly bespoke, affordable and unique wedding. Couples can style their special day and make individual choices about service providers. Alternatively, you may choose to select one of our inclusive packages, which cater for all preferences and budgets, designed to take the burden out of planning. With spiralling costs of an average wedding, the Guildhall offers a more realistic alternative to an all-in-one venue, without compromising on the enjoyment or ambience of your special day.
