Our administration team are hard-working perfectionists, our web developers are creative, intuitive and skilled, last but not least our marketing team are enthusiastic, ambitious and full of fresh ideas!
Many members of our team have been with Guides for Brides for more than 10 years, growing with the company through regular training courses and opportunities.
Having started Guides for Brides back in 1995, Alison is the driving force behind the business. Alison is passionate about the wedding sector and takes a strong interest in current trends and industry changes. She was a founder member and Deputy Chair of the UK Weddings Taskforce, supporting couples and businesses during the pandemic.Email
Head of Sales & Operations
John has worked at Guides for Brides since 2004. He manages our sales team as well as being responsible for the operations of our business. He organises our wedding fairs, networking events and our annual Customer Service Awards and supports his own large client base. John brings a wealth of sales knowledge and experience to the team.Email
Head of Strategy
Nikita leads our marketing team and as Head of Strategy is responsible for ensuring Guides for Brides constantly evolves to support our clients and couples. With marketing agency experience, she actively connects wedding industry suppliers with prospective couples through effective marketing campaigns, training and consultancy.Email
Trudi is our longest serving member our team and has been with Guides for Brides for many years. She has worked in various administration roles before taking on full responsibility of accountancy within Guides for Brides.Email
Venue Groups Account Manager
Elaine has over 15 years of sales and customer service experience. She is responsible for the large, national accounts and has a budding passion for history and can tell you some interesting facts about most of the venues she works with.Email
Ali joined Guides for Brides back in 2010 having previously excelled in other sales and customer service roles. She understands the value of social media and promotes her clients across all our channels.Email
Digital Marketing & Social Media
Jenny is our Digital Marketing and Social Media Executive. Having recently received her Masters in Multimedia Journalism, Jenny brings her extensive social media and copywriting skills to her role at Guides for Brides and through her work with our clients.Email
Freelance Marketing Intern
With a bachelors degree and a desire to start a career in marketing, Imogen works for our team on an ad hoc basis to grow her skills and understanding of marketing techniques.Email
Andy is our lead developer and has over 15 years in web development with PHP. Having built SaaS, e-commerce platforms, online subscription systems and mobile apps, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.Email
Jess is our newest team member and will be working with our marketing team for her year in industry during her BSc Management at Loughborough University. She is excited to learn more about weddings and event marketing and looking forward to supporting our clients.
