Many members of our team have been with Guides for Brides for more than 10 years, growing with the company through regular training courses and opportunities.
Alison
Managing Director
Having started Guides for Brides back in 1995, Alison is the driving force behind the business. Alison is passionate about the wedding sector and takes a strong interest in current trends and industry changes. She was a founder member and Deputy Chair of the UK Weddings Taskforce, supporting couples and businesses during the pandemic.
John
Head of Sales & Operations
John has worked at Guides for Brides since 2004. He manages our sales team as well as being responsible for the operations of our business. He organises our wedding fairs, networking events and our annual Customer Service Awards and supports his own large client base. John brings a wealth of sales knowledge and experience to the team.
Nikita
Head of Strategy
As Head of Strategy, Nikita ensures that Guides for Brides remains at the forefront of the industry, continually evolving to meet the changing needs of our clients and couples. Her recent qualification as a Business Analyst brings a unique perspective, allowing her to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop data-driven strategies for success. With 5 years of experience at Guides for Brides, Nikita has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing direction and building strong relationships within the wedding industry.
Katie
Marketing Manager
Katie is the Marketing Manager at Guides for Brides, leading marketing activity that helps wedding businesses reach the right couples. With strong knowledge of the wedding industry and digital marketing, she focuses on practical, performance-led campaigns shaped by first-hand experience of planning her own wedding.
Elaine
Venue Groups Account Manager
Elaine has over 20 years of sales and customer service experience and has worked with wedding venues for 13 years. She is responsible for the large, national accounts and has a budding passion for history and can tell you some interesting facts about most of the venues she works with.
Beth
Wedding Content and Marketing Specialist
Beth is a marketing specialist with a background in the luxury fashion and hospitality industry, bringing a creative eye and a strong understanding of visual storytelling to the wedding space. With experience across content creation and social media, she focuses on helping couples and businesses connect in a way that feels natural and considered. Beth understands what captures attention and drives engagement, bringing a more considered, visually-led approach to modern wedding planning.
Moyin
Digital Marketing Executive
Moyin has a background in event planning, with a strong focus on research and analysis. With a degree in Psychology and Marketing, she brings a thoughtful, insight-led approach, keeping up with trends and knowing what works in practice. Known for quickly gathering useful, reliable advice, Moyin is the person to speak to when you want clear direction without feeling overwhelmed. And at heart, she’s a true romantic, always drawn to the details that make each wedding feel personal.
Trudi
Bookkeeper/Accounts
Trudi is the longest serving member of our team and has been with Guides for Brides for many years. She has worked in various administration roles before taking on full responsibility of accountancy within Guides for Brides.
