James and Michelle had been together for four years before getting engaged, and as they aren't remotely religious they didn't want to have a traditional wedding. Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury was the perfect place for their wedding, with hedge mazes, hidey holes, water features and beautifully-maintained gardens making everything perfect. Working on a tight budget they decided to make all the decorations and wedding favours themselves: bunting and covered letters which spelled our names in pages from the Alice in Wonderland books, and painting a croquet set to look like flamingos and hedgehogs!
