James and Chelsey got engaged after he whisked her away to Rome and popped the question on their one year anniversary with a beautiful, classic ring made at Hatton Garden in London. Rome-ance was definitely in the air for this couple who married in one of England's most famous castle wedding venues.
A year later, Chelsey and James tied the knot at their magical Christmas wedding at Warwick Castle, a wedding venue full of history and charm. They opted for an 'elegant Christmas' theme for their big day, which was perfect as Warwick Castle was dressed beautifully for the Christmas season. The wedding ceremony took place in the Great Hall, where Chelsey and James said their vows in front of their family and friends, before they moved to the State Rooms for the evening celebrations surrounded by historic statues and artwork.
Chelsey looked stunning in her beautiful satin ballgown with beaded strapless bodice, and accessorised with a faux fur wrap to keep her warm in the evening and a sparkling tiara that matched the fairytale venue perfectly. James opted for a traditional black tuxedo with a twist - he had a print of Chelsey on the back of his waistcoat, which he revealed during his speech!Â
This Christmas wedding had a very special guest - Santa came along to hand out presents to all of the children! There were also three Andrews Sisters-style singers to entertain the 125 guests throughout the drinks reception with their classic Christmas songs, which got everyone singing along. Elite Cake Designs created a grand six tiered wedding cake for the big day, topped with gorgeous rich pink roses that matched the incredible rose bouquets created by Passion for Flowers.Â
James and Chelsey decided to return to Italy for their mini moon, where they explored the romantic canals of Venice for a few days, before they headed to Sri Lanka for their relaxing honeymoon six months later.Â
