The Proposal
Chelsi and Sam first met when they were 16 years old, Chelsi worked at a sports shop in their hometown, Maidenhead. One day, Sam came in to check out football boots. They immediately hit it off, setting up a date for shortly after. Life and studies got in the way at the start, but they reunited in a nightclub at 18, and have been together ever since. Sam proposed to Chelsi on the eve of her 24th birthday after 5 years together, during an evening stroll along Brighton Pier, one of their favourite places. The pier was all lit up with twinkling lights, it was a truly special moment.

Chelsi and Sam's wedding at Hedsor House in December was like stepping into a wintery festive fairytale. The colour theme was a blend of white, gold, and greenery, with little festive touches. During the wedding ceremony, Sam's sister and bridesmaid, Kelly, did a reading from Love Actually, tying in perfectly to the celebrations as the words speak about love and it is one of Chelsi and Sam's favourite films to watch at Christmas time. They also sang Silent Night, one of their favourite Hymns during the ceremony. Perfect for a Christmas season wedding day.
For the wedding breakfast, the starter was a pork croquette followed by a ‘family style chicken roast', where each table was given a roast chicken to carve themselves at the table, sharing style vegetables and accompaniments. This was a huge talking point and broke the ice between tables. Chelsi and Sam said this made our main course feel like one huge big family on Christmas day carving the meat and sharing side dishes! The dessert was a Sticky Toffee Pudding, Chelsi & Sam's all time favourite dessert.
The Fashion
Chelsi looked beautiful in her wedding dress from Pure Couture in Beaconsfield, a Stella York number that was just perfect. The five bridesmaids wore gorgeous champagne gold long dresses from Biba, to fit in with the festive sparkly theme. The couple also got them cute white shawls just in case the bridesmaids got chilly in the December weather.
Sam looked very handsome in a navy check suit from Moss paired with a stylish grey horseshoe waistcoat and a snazzy blue knitted tie. His seven groomsmen, including two best men, sported the same navy check suits but they each had a classic waistcoat to match the suit and a champagne gold knitted tie. The outfits all complemented each other, adding an extra dose of charm to the entire celebration at Hedsor House.
Newlywed Highlights
Chelsi and Sam had such a beautiful wedding day and some of the most gorgeous golden hour photos thanks to the beautiful winter sunshine. When asked about the highlight of their big day, they said: "Our favourite moment has got to be being on the dance floor, dancing the night away and looking around, seeing a full dance floor with everyone having just the most wonderful time. We looked at each other and said how we couldn't believe we are now married and every single one of our favourite people are under this roof. One of the most magical moments."
