Elisabeth and Laurie's DIY wedding was unique from start to finish. With a small budget to work with, family and friends pulled together to help out with the cake and balloon decorations. Find your perfect intimate wedding venue now.
Elisabeth designed and made her very own DIY wedding dress which was machine knitted in very fine silk. She started working on it a year before the wedding, taking her the equivalent of 6 months full time work to finish it. The wedding transport was quirky, with a VW Split Camper Van replacing the traditional wedding car. There were a few hiccups on the day; the organist didn't turn up and Elisabeth's fingers swelled up, taking her a while to get her ring on! Despite the hiccups, it was an unforgettable day. The sun was shining and everyone had a lovely time.
