Heather and Jason got married in January at the incredible Mitton Hall in Lancashire.
They chose a gorgeous warm colour scheme and their photographer captured the day so perfectly, producing some seriously stunning photos!
Long before their Lancashire wedding, Jason proposed to Heather in Budapest at the fisherman’s Bastion. It was an immediate yes, and the couple spent the following 3 years planning their dream day.
Unfortunately, Covid meant that they had to postpone their wedding for a year, but they were able to go through with their second date and all went to plan.

The Wedding Outfits
After 3 long years of waiting, it was finally time to say "I do". Heather wore a Pronovias dress with blue buttons sewn onto the sleeves which were her grandmas. She paired her stunning gown with the most elegant Jimmy Choo shoes.
Jason rocked a brown tweed 3 piece suit, matching his groomsmen who had their pocket squares embroidered with their initials.
The 7 bridesmaids wore long burgundy dresses, with a deep v back and satin bow and a puddle train. In total, 87 guests attended to watch the couple tie the knot and celebrate their love. Let's hear the key details in Heather's own words...

The Venue
Mitton Hall is an effortlessly beautiful venue in Lancashire. The team pride themselves in delivering exceptional weddings on the banks of the river that gives it's name to the Ribble Valley.
"We love that Mitton Hall has the best of both worlds; old traditional when you walk in to the main hall and light and modern in the ceremony room, it just suited us perfectly! We opted for an Autumnal colour scheme with lots of browns, burgundy’s, burnt oranges and deep cream."

Pre-Wedding
"Before I got into my dress, I asked my photographer, Paige, to take a few pictures of my in wedding underwear and veil. The pictures are amazing and I’m so pleased with them. I saw something like this on Pinterest and I had worked so hard, so I thought why the hell not!"

The Aisle
"My bridesmaid Lucie read 'The One' and I walked down the aisle to 'Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong; the same song that was played at my grandad's funeral because he loved it so much. My favourite part of the day was walking into the wedding ceremony with my dad and seeing all our loved ones there to celebrate us. Just seeing how happy Jason was as I was walking down the aisle was so special."

Planning
"Other than navigating Covid, the planning process was pretty straight forward and I really enjoyed it. It's even been said I should do this for a living!"

The Honeymoon
"For our honeymoon, our initial plans got cancelled so we went to York for a few days after the wedding. We are planning our actual mini-moon for March and travelling to Venice soon. Hopefully we will be able to get to the Amalfi Coast in September for our actual Honeymoon!"
