Craig proposed to Lisa on their anniversary at The Penmaenmawr, a beautiful manor house in Wales. They chose the gorgeous, coastal county of Cornwall as their wedding setting. The couple tied the knot on the 9th of May 2018 at the incredible Polhawn Fort. Their wedding was an informal day that reflected their personalities and families. After their marriage ceremony, they proceeded to hold their daughter's naming ceremony, which was a perfect start for them as a family.
They chose a boho theme for their special day, relaxed and by the beach. "It felt like a dream come true," said Lisa.Â
For the wedding breakfast, they held off having a seating plan as they were aiming for a relaxed feel. Instead, they had long dressed tables on the lawn by the sea where guests gathered for their bespoke barbecue feast.
The Fashion
Lisa had a long search for her dream wedding dress, but she finally found it. She wore a beautiful backless dress from Adele Winstanley Brides in Saddleworth.
The bridesmaids wore heather coloured dresses, while the flower girls had stunning little ivory lace dresses. The seven bridesmaids and Lisa herself had their hair in gorgeous up-do's styled by her friend Kate. Their makeup was done by the talented Suzi Winter.
Craig and his groomsmen opted for a relaxed look. Craig wore a Vivienne Westwood ice blue shirt and cream chino shorts, styled with tan deck shoes. The groomsmen wore the same but with navy shorts to contrast.
The Decor
The couple were lucky enough to have a relative help them out with their floral arrangements, Rachel Farrington. She created stunning bouquets, buttonholes, garlands and exquisite floral decor for the wedding. The flowers were all sourced locally and followed a orange, pink and red theme throughout.
The couple decided to have Telecom styled save the date and invitations for their guests, they had an 18 month planning period from the proposal to the big day, along with the birth of their  daughter Luana Rose, eagerly awaited by Craigs daughters Chantelle and Macey. Lisa and Craig were so proud of all that the girls brought to the special day.
The Food
Hayley from Hayley's Cakes created their dream wedding cake. They chose to have a vintage style layered sponge, topped with roses, fruit and icing sugar. The catering was all done by Lisa and Craig's close friend, Guilio Bragagnini from The San Marco Chain of Restaurants. They started with a classic combination of Parma Ham, Melon and Fig. A barbecue of beef ribs, prawn crevettes and mediterranean vegetables followed.
The Evening Reception
Craig, Lisa and their guests danced the night away to a selection of DJ's. Craig and his friends were included in the DJ's, and they played planned sets throughout the evening which took them through to the early hours of the following day.Â
