Eight years after a unique meet-cute at Nando’s, Natasha and Josh tied the knot at The Barns at Lodge Farm in a festival themed wedding. If you're wanting a summer festival theme for your wedding then find your barn wedding venue here!
The Venue
Natasha and Josh chose The Barns at Lodge Farm because it was a blank canvas. The beautiful, newly converted barn combined with the stunning countryside as a backdrop were the perfect fit for their festival themed wedding. They decorated using a colour board including dusty pink, green, ivory, light greys and royal blues. The couple hired their venue for two days so they could create a glamping village for their guests and themselves. They wanted to all sleep under the stars! The bride and groom chose this festival theme because it represents them as a couple. They are happiest when relaxing with some music and good street food!
The Fashion
The bride wore a gorgeous, flowing lace wedding dress by Melissa Sweet from David's Bridal. This perfectly complemented the chic festival theme. The two bridesmaids wore dusty pink, tea-length chiffon dresses. The groom and his 4 groomsmen opted for light grey suits with blue shirts and navy ties.
The Food
Natasha and Josh wanted to continue their festival theme and celebrate their love of street food with their wedding food! So they had three different street food vans Curry on Naanstop which offered authentic Indian cuisine, Gourdans which supplied steak and frites and The Sundae Cycle which had ice cream because, as the bride said, ‘Who doesn’t like ice cream?’ The couple thought the food was absolutely amazing food and it was adored by all the guests!
The Reception
One of the highlights of the day for Natasha was all the guests coming together to compete to be the winning team as they played field games in the early evening. As everyone was enjoying the fun, and the lovely food, the newlyweds had time to interact with their loved ones. Natasha says that this was one of her most memorable moments, ‘looking around at all the laughter and love and thinking, “Yes we did it, we actually pulled this off!”’ Another highlight for the couple was successfully completely the iconic lift from Dirty Dancing to (I've Had) The Time Of My Life!
