In short, yes. If you are planning on making a trip to us, especially to try dresses on, then booking an appointment beforehand is vital. Our private fitting room is always in high demand and we would hate you to make the trip only to find that we are unable to accommodate you. That said, you are always welcome to pop in and browse the rails before you book an appointment if you wish.

Our appointments normally last an 90 minutes. At weekends we are often fully booked so have to stick strictly to the time schedule, however, there is far more flexibility during the week so we always recommend booking in then if you can. This way if there are no appointments booked after you, then there is no rush to end the appointment once the set time has passed. This is always nice if we feel we are on a roll!

No we do not charge for appointments.

We recommend shopping approximately 12 months before the big day and having chosen your gown at least 9 months before. This will allow adequate time for your dress to be ordered in and for us to arrange subsequent accessory appointments and alteration fittings should they be required.

Our sample dresses in store range between a UK 10 to UK 16, with the average being a 12 or 14 depending on style. We also have a plus size curve collection in store, with samples ranging between UK 18 to UK 26. When ordering your dress, measurements are taken and then the appropriate size is ordered accordingly. You then may need alterations to achieve the perfect fit, which can be arranged once your dress has arrived.

We can accommodate up to two guests to join you for your appointment. We recommend bringing along those closest to you whose opinions you value the most. Your guests should understand your true style and offer you supportive feedback.

If you say yes to a dress in store and are placing a deposit that day, we are more than happy for you to take photos of your chosen dress. Photos aren’t allowed to be taken in-store whilst you are trying dresses on though. We are happy to send you professional catalogue photos should you want to remind yourself of what you have tried on during your appointment.

Yes, we offer in house alterations. We have a professional on site work room where all our alterations are carried out. Nothing is ever sent away and all our customers have a personal one to one consultation with our seamstress Elena.
