London Bride is a family-run bridal boutique on Walworth Road, near Elephant and Castle in South London, and has been dressing brides since 1977. Three generations of brides have found their wedding dresses here.
We stock designer gowns from Maggie Sottero, Sottero and Midgley, Rebecca Ingram, Justin Alexander, Adore by Justin Alexander, Lillian West, Mori Lee, Mori Lee Julietta and Sincerity Bridal. Dresses start from £875 and go up to £2,200, and can be ordered in UK sizes 4 to 32.
Every appointment is one-to-one with a stylist who is not on commission, so you get honest advice and the time to try as many styles as you like without feeling rushed. Alongside gowns ordered from the designer, we have an Off the Peg collection of designer sample gowns you can take home the same day, and regular sale events.
Alterations are done in house, so the team that helps you choose your dress also makes sure it fits on the day. All visits are by appointment, including Tuesdays and Sundays; book online or call us. We are in Zone 1, a 5 to 10 minute walk from Elephant and Castle station.

Yes. All visits are by appointment so we can give you our full attention without interruption. You can book online through our website.
Bridal appointments last 75 minutes, with your own stylist for the whole time.
A small booking fee secures your appointment. For bridal appointments it is redeemable against your dress when you order, and it is refunded in full if you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice.
Most brides start trying on dresses 9 to 12 months before the wedding, which leaves time to order and for alterations. If your wedding is sooner, we have Off the Peg designer dresses you can take home the same day.
Gowns can be ordered in UK sizes 4 to 32, and we have sample dresses to try on across a wide range of sizes, including plus size. We don't have every dress in every size, so please call us before you visit.
You can bring up to 3 guests from Sunday to Friday, and 2 on a Saturday.
Yes, we stock veils and headpieces. Most brides choose their accessories at their first fitting, once the dress is ordered.
Yes, we stock bridal jewellery.
Yes, we have a small range of bridal shoes.
Yes, alterations are done in house for dresses bought from us. Most brides have 2 to 3 fittings, starting around 8 to 12 weeks before the wedding.
