About Fairytale Occasions Ltd
For all those ‘brides to be’ that have been thinking about their wedding dress, and are feeling slightly overwhelmed about dress shopping, as they have no idea what they want and don’t know where to start. Then please don’t worry as it’s always best to start wedding dress or prom dress shopping with an open mind as you won’t really know what you truly like until you start trying on dresses. Once you start finding all the things you don’t like then it becomes so much easier to find the 'One'!
All our dresses are handpicked by myself, covering a range of fabrics and silhouettes to appeal to all and can be ordered in up to a size 30. If you are short on time some of our designers offer a rush order service for a small extra charge and we also have a rail of ‘ready-to-wear’ dresses on sale which can be bought and taken away the same day. Our private boutique is appointments only so you get whole place all to yourself and whomever you wish to accompany you, so you can feel comfortable and at ease with the people around you and our surroundings. Let us do what we do best and help you find your dream gown or outfit in our warm & fun-loving boutique, as we aim to make you feel calm and relaxed so you can just concentrate on looking and feeling amazing!
So here is our main difference!
As a graduate of the London College of Fashion in 1999, I can also be commissioned to make a bespoke gown or outfit just for you, where you get to choose the design, style, fabric and details of your choice, having something made that is unique to you! In addition to this, as dressmakers we also under take all your alteration needs whether you purchased a dress with us or not. We just love to sew and never tire! Just don’t ask me to make a cake!

FAQs
Yes we work on an appointment only basis providing a one-to-one service with exclusive use of the boutique.
1.5 Hours to try on as many dresses as you like during that time.
Yes we charge £25 for our bridal appointments.
We do recommend a good comfortable time looking for your gown is 10-12 months before your wedding.
Sizes 12-28 although they can be ordered in sizes 4-32.
2-3 guests max if possible for a few reasons. Our small, but perfectly formed boutique can really only accommodate this amount of guests. Please remember it is your day and your opinion is most crucial in finding the perfect dress for you. We also want you to relax and enjoy your time at our boutique.
Yes we are happy for you to take photos, but do ask you to base your dress choice on how you feel in the dress and not by a phone image.
Yes we sell a selection of veils available in different lengths, edgings and colours.
We have selection of jewellery available.
We have a small selection of shoes available.
We do not have bridesmaids dresses for sale, but we only make these bespoke.
As dressmakers we offer a full alteration services and we are more than happy to alter dresses that have not been purchased at Fairytale Occasions too.
Our exquisite bridal gowns are made using high quality fabrics and start from £600-£3000 providing a wide range for everyone to find their perfect dress. We also have a 'ready to wear' rail with dresses you can take away the same day all for under £1000, with some even under £500.
