Chewino started with a batch of homemade gummies that disappeared faster than the cake. These days it's all about small-batch sweets for weddings — gummy favours, sweet tables, dessert boards. Some couples want classic bears in their wedding colours. Others ask for heart-shaped wine gums, or a sour mix for the evening crowd. Chewino: Handmade Gummy Sweets and Wedding Treats

Most wedding favours end up in a drawer. Sweets don't. That's the whole idea behind Chewino — small-batch gummies and sweet-table treats that get eaten on the night, not carried home out of politeness.

What couples usually come to us for:

Gummy favours. Little bags or jars, matched to your colour scheme. Bears are the safe pick. Hearts and rings get more photos. A #3 bag (about 40g) is the size most guests actually finish.

Sweet tables. A proper spread for the evening do — sour mixes, fizzy strips, wine gums, plus a few sugar-free options so nobody is left out. We plan quantities by guest count so you don't end up with three kilos of leftover cola bottles. Around 80 to 100g per guest is the honest number.

Dietary options. Pectin-based gummies with no gelatine for vegetarian and halal guests. They set softer than gelatine sweets, and we're upfront about that trade-off.

Seasonal advice. Gummies and summer marquees are a tricky combination. We'll tell you plainly what holds up in heat and what doesn't, because a melted sweet table at 4pm helps nobody.
