Both, I have a team I work with for larger weddings and smaller weddings I always have a backup planner available on the day who has been brief on the wedding in case of any emergency. This has never happened.
I will coordinate directly with the venue coordinator and all wedding suppliers. I will work with the venue to help create the on-the-day timeline.
