Lauren Portia Events is a luxury destination wedding planner for couples from the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and the UAE. Based in the UK, UAE and Italy, our team plans weddings across Lake Como, Tuscany, Puglia, Umbria, Sicily and Rome, and also in France, Spain, Greece and the UK.
We design timeless, elegant and contemporary weddings, and we look after every part of the planning: venue sourcing, supplier management, design and styling, guest logistics and budget management. Whether you choose a château, a historic villa, a private estate or a UK country house, we coordinate every supplier so the whole weekend runs smoothly.
Lauren's background in luxury fashion shapes our eye for design and detail. We offer full wedding planning, partial planning and on-the-day coordination, and Lauren and her team are certified in Wedding Planning & Event Design by the Global Wedding Academy.

No, I have a network of preferred suppliers in various locations who are tried and trusted. However, I will always work with the suppliers who best fit the couple's style and needs.

Yes, I can style the venue and help to hire and source any additional items needed.
Both, I have a team I work with for larger weddings and smaller weddings I always have a backup planner available on the day who has been brief on the wedding in case of any emergency. This has never happened.
I will coordinate directly with the venue coordinator and all wedding suppliers. I will work with the venue to help create the on-the-day timeline.
