My fee for full planning is 12% of your total wedding budget, with a minimum fee for smaller celebrations. Most couples invest around £20,000 for my services. Every proposal is prepared for your specific wedding once I understand the scale, the venue and how much you would like me to take on.

No. I work at any venue across Surrey, London and the UK, and I am happy to work alongside suppliers you have already booked. I do have a trusted list built over years of weddings, and I will always tell you honestly if I think a supplier is not up to the standard your day deserves.

I plan weddings anywhere in the UK, from my base in the Surrey Hills through to Scotland and the coast, but I do not take on weddings abroad. If your venue is a long way from Surrey I simply build the extra site visits into the plan from the start.

Yes, and it can be booked on its own. My wedding day management service is for couples who have loved planning their own day but want to hand it over when it arrives. In the final weeks I take on your contracts, timelines and supplier contacts and become the point of contact for everyone. On the day I coordinate your suppliers and keep everything flowing, so you can be fully present.

Yes, and it is the part of my work I love most. I design the look of the day from the first concept through to flowers, table settings, stationery and lighting, and styling can be booked on its own if you are happy planning the rest yourself.

Lucia Penman Events is a one woman business, so the person you meet at our first conversation is the person planning your wedding and standing beside you on the day. I bring in trusted assistants on site whenever the scale of the day calls for it.

Closely, and from the very start. Your venue co-ordinator looks after the venue and I look after you and everything beyond it, so I share timelines, floor plans and supplier details with them well before the day and confirm everything in the final weeks. On the day we work as one team, and I stay the single point of contact for your suppliers.
