I'm Wayne — a professional wedding DJ and MC with over 30 years of experience, based in Ely and covering Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. I work exclusively with weddings. I only take one booking per week, which means when it's yours, you have my complete attention from the first conversation right through to the last song of the night. No hidden extras. No agency middlemen. No risk of someone else turning up on your day. Just someone who genuinely cares how your wedding goes.

Every booking starts with a proper planning conversation — not a quick email asking for a song list. My online planning portal lets you map out your entire day at your own pace: must-plays, do-not-plays, the first dance, key moments and announcements, the overall atmosphere you're going for. Everything in one place, nothing left to chance.
I work with all kinds of couples — first weddings, second weddings, intimate celebrations and everything in between. Whether you're planning a full ceremony-to-carriages day at a venue like Longstowe Hall or Sheene Mill, or a relaxed evening party for 40 close friends, the same care and preparation goes into every booking.
Three packages are available:
Evening Only — £800. I arrive early, set up discreetly, and handle everything from the first song to the last. Music tailored to your crowd, a dancefloor that fills, no cheesy routines.
The All Day Experience — £1,500. From after the ceremony through to the end of the night. Background music, confident MC hosting, seamless transitions, and a dancefloor that doesn't need bribing.
Ceremony to Carriages — £2,500. The full works. Every moment of your day handled, from the moment guests take their seats to the last song of the night.
All bookings include a written contract, full public liability insurance, PAT tested equipment, and access to my online planning portal. I aim to respond to every enquiry the same day.
No action dances. No forced audience participation. No shouting over your favourite song. In over 30 years I've never missed a wedding.
Covering Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk — including Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Peterborough and surrounding areas.
