Richard Ellis Hawley Music offers flexible wedding entertainment for couples who want beautiful, personal and memorable music throughout their day. I provide live keyboard, organ and piano-style music for ceremonies, drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts, as well as DJ entertainment for evening celebrations.
My repertoire covers romantic wedding favourites, timeless classics, hymns, light background music, ballroom styles, popular songs and feel-good party music. I can tailor the music to suit your venue, your guests and the atmosphere you want to create, whether that is elegant and relaxed, traditional and meaningful, or lively and celebratory.
I can perform on church organ where available, provide my own professional keyboard setup, or adapt to the needs of your venue. Packages can include ceremony music, background music during the meal, and evening DJ entertainment, giving you one reliable musician for several parts of the day.

Richard Ellis Hawley Music aims to provide wedding entertainment in a thoughtful and responsible way. Wherever possible, I keep travel efficient by planning journeys carefully and working across the North East and surrounding areas in a practical, local way. For many weddings, I can provide several parts of the day myself, including ceremony music, background music and evening DJ entertainment. This can reduce the need for multiple suppliers travelling separately to the same venue. I use digital communication wherever possible for enquiries, planning, music lists and booking details, helping to reduce unnecessary printing. My keyboard and DJ setups are chosen to be practical, reliable and suitable for the venue, without using excessive equipment where it is not needed. I am also happy to work with couples and venues who are planning more sustainable weddings, including local celebrations, community venues and lower-waste events.
