We are excited to announce we'll be hosting an Open house Event on Sunday 5th October!
Come and enjoy a relaxed wander around our charming ceremony spaces, gorgeous gardens in full bloom, picture-perfect backdrops and of course not to forget our adorable farm animals. Whether you're newly engaged or just beginning to plan your dream wedding, this is the perfect opportunity to soak up the atmosphere and fall in love with South Farm.
There is no need to book in advance - just come along on the day! Our doors will be open between midday and 4pm with last entrance at 3.30pm. Our Open House Event is for couples who have yet to book their wedding venue and is a great chance to visit and explore our beautiful barn wedding venue on the Hertfordshire/ Cambridgeshire border.

Our dedicated team support you from the moment of your first visit, to booking the big day. South Farm combines natural beauty in a countryside setting with easy proximity to London being close to the A1, M11 & A10. Our dedicated team prioritise making your wedding perfect – ensuring a memorable day. Whether your style is classic or modern, our venue offers a blank canvas for your dream celebration. You choose the drinks, food, entertainment, and décor; we handle the details. At South Farm, it’s all about you.

Our eight acre organic smallholding supplies nearly all the vegetables, herbs, fruit, eggs and some of our pork whatever the season - it really is Field to Fork! Home-grown, hand-picked produce is used in our mouth-watering menus – all freshly cooked and expertly served. We’re so proud of our food. We take a flexible approach to meal planning too – an exquisite formal three course feast served to your table or one of our generous buffet menus offering your guests a choice on the day, choose from a hot-buffet, lamb roast, hog roast, fusion feast or classic BBQ. Our diverse menus include fully plant-based and vegetarian menus and we can cater for a range of diverse menus including Halal, Kosher Friendly and Masorti Supervised. If you’d like something different, no problem…come and chat to us to create the wedding breakfast of your dreams!

Our expansive gardens, rustic meadows & farm are home to a diverse range of wildlife and, over the years, we have planted over 1000 indigenous hardwood trees, heritage orchards and kilometres of hedgerow. The barnyard & farm is also home to many rare-breed animals including our two miniature donkeys, goats, kune kune pigs, runner ducks and dark brahma & silver laced chickens.
