Set in the heart of the beautiful historic town of Old Amersham, the Kings Chapel is a stunning, newly-converted 18th century Chapel. It provides a unique and historic setting for your perfect wedding venue in Buckinghamshire and has still managed to remain Buckinghamshire's best-kept secret. Refurbished to fit modern need, while maintaining the original and traditional feel of our picturesque listed Chapel, it provides an intimate and unique setting for your perfect wedding.

The Kings Chapel welcomes all couples for an unforgettably individual day. Sculpt your perfectly unique day around our distinctive venue; from the various ceremony options in the Main Hall to the many menu options of the Wedding Breakfast, finishing up in the Reception Room to dance the night away. We even have a Boardroom upstairs; a light airy space which presents a multitude of functions - an onsite Bridal preparation space, a nervous speech practice room, a restless kids playroom, a space for photobooth fun...the possibilities are endless!

Our beautiful venue boasts the second largest unsupported domed ceiling in England in our Main Hall, connected to this we have a glittering chandelier lit Reception Room and quirky Bar. Outside you will find our stunning walled garden, which is also able to host your ceremony. The Kings Chapel provides you with an infinitely light and utterly unique blank-canvas to create the perfect venue.

We can offer 34 bedrooms at The Kings Arms, 79 if we add our sister hotel The Crown Inn which is fifty metres away. Let your wedding coordinator take care of all your requirements!
