About The Craiglands Hotel
Built in 1859, The Craiglands Hotel brings together Victorian architecture, landscaped grounds and long-established hospitality in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. Set close to the Ilkley Moors, the hotel has welcomed guests for more than 150 years and today hosts weddings across a collection of licensed event spaces designed to suit both intimate celebrations and large gatherings.
Ceremonies and receptions take place across five licensed rooms, allowing weddings to be shaped around guest numbers and preferred layout. The Ballroom and Saxon Suite create a large-scale setting with a built-in stage and grand dance floor, while The Moorside offers high ceilings and characterful original features. Smaller celebrations can be held in the Conservatory, filled with natural light, or in more private suites suited to lower guest numbers.
Spaces can be used individually or combined, enabling celebrations ranging from smaller weddings through to large seated events of up to 700 guests. Dedicated wedding coordination supports couples from early planning through to the day itself, with flexibility to tailor arrangements around individual requirements.
The hotel also offers on-site accommodation within its 63-bedroom property, allowing guests to stay overnight and continue celebrations in one location. Historic surroundings, adaptable function rooms and extensive indoor event space make The Craiglands Hotel suited to weddings of varying scale and cultural traditions.
