Alfriston Gardens is a sensational two-acre estate where you can host your civil ceremony and reception in the Century and Woodland Barns. This historical destination combines traditional elements with modern comforts, presenting a refined and relaxed setting in which to mark your story. Offering more than just memories, the renovated venue is home to unique gardens, beautiful guest accommodation and mouth-watering catering.

The Venue:
The connected event barns host between 60 and 155 guests, depending on your layout. The ceremonial barn blends 17th-century architecture with contemporary design and features a stylish mezzanine for a unique vantage point. Outdoor ceremonies take place in the gardens, with guests seated on the lawn. Wedding breakfasts and evening receptions are held in the modern events barn, filled with natural light from a skylight and opening onto the decking and gardens via a bi-fold glass wall.

The Oak Lodge suits more intimate receptions and also serves as a welcoming reception space. The gardens provide a beautiful botanical backdrop for photographs, with indoor options available in case of British weather.

Accommodation:
Exclusive-use onsite accommodation is available for up to 58 guests. The honeymoon cottage is a serene retreat, perfect for relaxed preparations ahead of the big day; offering privacy and a calm setting for overnight stays. Nine en-suite shepherd huts provide an authentic glamping experience, blending outdoor charm with luxurious comfort, alongside ten beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms in the Vine Lodge. Breakfast is served in Oak Lodge, a multi-functional space where friends and family can stay in the five modern bedrooms upstairs.
