About Tatton Park

Tatton Park weddings take place across a historic estate in Knutsford, set within 1,000 acres of Cheshire parkland with ornamental gardens and meres. Couples can choose from a range of indoor rooms in the 18th-century Mansion, each licensed for civil ceremonies, or explore options across the wider grounds including the Medieval Old Hall.

Ceremonies can be held in the Mansion Entrance Hall for up to 80 guests or in Lord Egerton’s Apartment for up to 40, with that suite also used as a bridal suite, for wet-weather drinks or intimate dining. The Tenants’ Hall, with no internal pillars, is flexible for larger gatherings; it is licensed for up to 350 guests and can be arranged for dining across a wide range of sizes.

Celebrations extend beyond the Mansion, with the Medieval Old Hall grounds available for marquee or tipi events, offering an alternative context within the estate for ceremonies or reception dining. An approved list of regional caterers complements venue hire. The estate’s mix of formal interior spaces, estate drives and terraces provides a sequence of settings throughout the day, from pre-ceremony arrival, through formal proceedings, to receptions. Tatton Park’s events team works with couples to plan each celebration, with spaces that can suit anything from a small dinner to a larger reception.
