This event is ideal for couples planning weddings in 2026 or 2027. Please note: our diary for 2028 is not yet open, and prices or packages for 2028 are not currently available. Bookings for 2028 will open at our Summer Wedding Showcase (date TBC).

About Rufford Mill
Rufford Mill sits within the historic Rufford Abbey Country Park in Nottinghamshire, bringing together a restored 19th-century mill and a contemporary glass extension designed specifically for weddings. Original brickwork and industrial features remain part of the setting, while floor-to-ceiling windows look out across the surrounding parkland and lake, keeping the landscape visible throughout the day.
Civil ceremonies take place in a licensed space that seats up to 100 guests. After the ceremony, guests move downstairs to the Markham suite for drinks, with the grounds of the country park providing the backdrop for photographs. The same central space is then arranged for the wedding breakfast, seating up to 80, then downstairs for the evening party with the dancefloor included for up to a maximum of 100 .
Food is prepared in-house, ( we do not allow external catering) with menus created by the venue’s catering team and options to tailor the dining experience to suit the style of the celebration. The combination of historic mill architecture, contemporary design and views across Rufford Abbey Country Park defines how weddings unfold here.
