About The Old Mill, Aldermaston

The Old Mill Aldermaston is a family-run wedding venue set beside the River Kennet in Royal Berkshire, offering couples exclusive use of the venue and grounds on their wedding day. Couples and their guests can arrive from 9:00am, use the bridal dressing room with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, and then choose between several licensed ceremony spaces according to their plans and guest numbers.

The Stable Room accommodates up to 70 people for more intimate ceremonies. For larger gatherings, the Conservatory and the outdoor Patio each hold up to 94 guests; the Conservatory has panoramic river views and brings the outside in without reliance on the weather.

For the wedding breakfast, the Mill, Bar and Conservatory areas are used together to seat up to 94 people, and later in the evening the venue can hold as many as 180 guests. Tables, chairs and glassware are included in the hire, and a fully licensed and stocked bar is available after welcome drinks. An on-site representative works with couples and suppliers on the day, and the venue provides access to Sonas wedding planning software to help manage details in advance.

Our Mill Room has had undergone a complete refurbishment and are thrilled to reveal our new riverside backdrop, creating the most idyllic surroundings for your wedding day from every indoor space!

Exclusive use of the gardens and grounds means privacy throughout the day, with the venue closing by midnight. Throughout the planning and on the day itself, staff are on hand to support coordination, and the venue’s riverside setting and variety of indoor and outdoor spaces give couples flexibility in how their day unfolds.
