About the Open Evening
Taking place from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, our monthly open evening is your ideal opportunity to view our stunning, contemporary facilities as you plan your big day.
Our flagship Grosvenor Suite will be set up for both a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast, so you can envision your day.
You will also have the chance to meet a selection of specially selected exhibitors who provide a host of services in the wedding industry including photography, celebrants, wedding cakes, venue dressing, hair and makeup services and much more!
Our weddings team will be on hand to discuss your options for holding a wedding at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa in person.

About Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa
Just beyond the historic city of Chester, close to the North Wales border, Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa brings together indoor celebration spaces and landscaped grounds designed to host weddings of different styles and sizes in one setting.
Ceremonies, receptions and blessings can all take place here, with licensed options including indoor suites and an outdoor lakeside gazebo. Larger celebrations are centred around the Grosvenor Suite, refurbished in 2022 and designed for gatherings of up to 200 guests, while smaller weddings can be held in the Belgrave or Westminster suites for a more intimate atmosphere.
The surrounding grounds form a key part of the day’s flow, offering dedicated spaces for photographs across the lakeside area, gardens and the Asian Sensory Garden. Civil ceremonies, same-sex marriages, partnerships and celebrations for all faiths and beliefs are welcomed, allowing couples to plan a wedding that reflects their own preferences and traditions.
A selection of all-inclusive wedding packages is available, with options tailored around individual requirements. Planning is supported by an in-house weddings team who coordinate arrangements from ceremony through to reception, helping couples shape the structure and details of their celebration within the hotel setting. Positioned near Chester while easily accessible from North Wales, the venue combines ceremony spaces, reception suites and outdoor areas within a single location for weddings held entirely on site.
