About The Gonville Hotel Cambridge
Set on the edge of Parker’s Piece, Gonville Hotel brings together Regency architecture, landscaped gardens and contemporary interiors in the centre of Cambridge. The hotel holds a civil ceremony licence, allowing the day to unfold in one place, with spaces that move naturally from vows to dining and dancing.
The Atrium is licensed for ceremonies and can seat up to 120 guests, its glass roof drawing in natural light throughout the day. For more intimate gatherings, the Terrace offers a smaller ceremony setting. Receptions take place in the hotel’s dedicated event spaces, with capacity for up to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 150 for an evening celebration.
Couples can shape their menu using the hotel’s wedding function menu packages, which include options for canapés, three-course wedding breakfasts, evening food and drinks packages. A dedicated wedding team supports the planning process from first enquiry through to the day itself.
Accommodation is available on site, with 92 bedrooms including feature rooms and suites. The hotel’s grounds provide space for drinks receptions and photographs, while the city centre location places Cambridge’s historic streets and colleges within easy reach for further portraits. With ceremony, reception, catering and guest accommodation under one roof, Gonville Hotel offers a central Cambridge setting designed to keep the day flowing comfortably from start to finish.
