Tucked away in the Cheshire countryside, The Cock O’Barton is a warm and welcoming wedding venue where couples can celebrate their day entirely their own way. From intimate ceremonies and relaxed courtyard drinks to beautiful marquee receptions, every wedding is thoughtfully tailored to reflect the couple at its heart.

Intimate weddings are a particularly special part of what we offer. Our characterful Private Dining Room can host civil ceremonies for up to 70 guests and private wedding breakfasts for up to 40, creating a warm and personal setting for your closest family and friends.

For larger celebrations, our light-filled Barton Suite is licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 120 guests. Following the ceremony, the courtyard provides a relaxed setting for reception drinks and canapés, with views across the Cheshire countryside.

From spring through to autumn, our garden marquee can seat up to 70 guests for the wedding breakfast and welcome up to 120 for the evening celebration. Exclusive use is also available, accommodating up to 120 guests during the day and 200 in the evening.

Food is at the heart of every wedding we host. Couples work alongside our talented chefs to create a bespoke menu using fresh, seasonal ingredients, from a traditional three-course wedding breakfast to sharing dishes, barbecues and relaxed dining.

Our 14 individually designed bedrooms allow couples and their guests to stay overnight and enjoy breakfast together the following morning.
