About Alrewas Hayes
Alrewas Hayes sits at the heart of a 100-acre estate in rural Staffordshire, centred on a Grade II-listed Queen Anne Manor House with origins dating back to 1066 and noted in the Domesday Book. The estate is offered on an exclusive-use basis for weddings and events, giving couples sole access to its collection of indoor and outdoor spaces for the entire day.
Ceremonies can take place in a variety of licensed settings. Within the Manor House wing, the Orangery and the Lobby provide light-filled interiors for smaller civil ceremonies, while the Great Barn is licensed for larger gatherings. The Courtyard offers an outdoor option when weather and preferences align.
Reception options reflect the estate’s range of spaces. A sit-down dinner or more informal drinks and canapé reception can be hosted indoors or outdoors, with settings adaptable to the couple’s plans. At night, production capabilities allow event spaces to transform into party environments.
Across the estate, additional rooms and features extend the experience. The Lakeside space overlooks the private lake and surrounding woodlands and fields, and the Williams Bar offers a distinctive interior for more relaxed gatherings. Eleven bedrooms housed within the Main House, Lodge and Coach House provide overnight accommodation for wedding parties and guests.
Alrewas Hayes is positioned on the outskirts of Fradley village, with access to nearby towns including Lichfield and Burton upon Trent.
