About The Oxfordshire
The Oxfordshire in Thame brings weddings into a hotel and resort setting set within the Oxfordshire countryside. The venue holds civil marriage licences and can welcome up to 200 guests, with suites that open onto an elevated terrace overlooking the surrounding landscape, which many couples use for drinks receptions and photography.
All weddings are supported by an on-site wedding co-ordinator who works alongside couples to plan the day and assist with arrangements. The approach to wedding days combines indoor and outdoor elements. Ceremony rooms with views across the grounds offer spaces for legally binding civil services. Following the ceremony, guests can gather outside on the terrace before moving to reception spaces within the hotel for receptions and evening celebrations.
The hotel element of The Oxfordshire includes 46 executive bedrooms and four suites, so wedding guests can stay overnight. There are leisure facilities on site, including spa and pool areas and a championship golf course, which couples and their guests may use during wedding weekends. Meals and drinks throughout the day are provided by the venue’s catering team, with options spanning from formal wedding breakfasts to evening entertainment. Parking is available on site for wedding guests.
