The Sylvan Cairn creates handcrafted, personalised slate and natural stone pieces for weddings and events. From engraved slate place settings and placemats to tactile Cairn Stone keepsakes, every piece is made by me in Oxfordshire. Natural engraving and gold or silver infill options allow each order to be tailored to the couple, with a focus on thoughtful design, careful workmanship and something guests will genuinely remember.

The Sylvan Cairn creates personalised wedding pieces designed to become part of the day itself, rather than simply another favour.
My wedding range includes engraved slate coasters and place settings, slate placemats, and natural Cairn Stone keepsakes. Each piece is prepared and engraved by me in Oxfordshire, with designs tailored to the couple and the style of their celebration.
Slate pieces can be finished with natural engraving or with metallic gold or silver infill for a more striking look. Cairn Stones are made from carefully selected natural, quartz-rich stones, giving every piece its own individual character and a distinctive tactile finish after engraving.
Orders can be created for intimate celebrations or larger weddings, with personalisation available across the range. Individual names can also be added to selected Cairn Stones for the couple, top table, wedding party, hosts or other key people.
Couples can request a no-obligation quotation before deciding whether to proceed. A £50 Sample & Design Fee is also available for those who would like to see their chosen design as a finished physical sample before committing to production. This includes one agreed digital mock-up, one physical sample, and standard UK postage and packaging.
The Sylvan Cairn is based in Oxfordshire and supplies weddings and events across the UK. Delivery or collection arrangements are discussed as part of the quotation.
