Bottom Of The Garden Flowers: Romantic Floral Design in the Heart of Dorset

Based in the heart of beautiful Dorset, Bottom Of The Garden Flowers specialises in creating breathtaking floral designs for your wedding day. Founded by floral artist Amy, the studio is renowned for its romantic, natural, and wildly beautiful garden-inspired aesthetic.

Each creation is a celebration of the seasons, showcasing the very best of British-grown flowers, many sourced from local growers and the studio's own cutting patch. This commitment to seasonality ensures that every arrangement is fresh, vibrant, and unique, filled with glorious colour, scent, and texture.

The journey begins with a personal consultation, allowing Amy to understand your unique vision, style, and the atmosphere you wish to create. This collaborative approach ensures that every floral element is thoughtfully considered and exquisitely crafted to reflect your personal story.

From enchanting bridal bouquets and delicate buttonholes to show-stopping ceremony arches and abundant table centrepieces, every arrangement is designed with artistry and care. The signature style is perfect for couples seeking flowers that feel both elegant and effortlessly natural, as if freshly gathered from a rambling country garden.

Bottom Of The Garden Flowers is dedicated to transforming your venue and creating lasting memories with flowers that are as unique and beautiful as your love story.

FAQs

This is an awkward question as every wedding is so different. My advice would be think about the elements that are important to you and how much budget you have to spend. Most good florists will discuss with you what you wanted and are more than happy to guide you on prices and help you make sure you can achieve the look you want within your budget.

We offer free consultations in the comfort of your own home, local café, pub or wherever you are most comfortable. This is a no pressure, no hard sell meeting so we can show you our portfolio, explain fully how we work and you get the chance to see if we are the right fit for your day. After all you being able to have complete trust in your florist to be able to deliver the look you wanted is a massive must!!!

If this is something you require yes, but please bear in mind we charge for this service.

Yes of course, we can show you the growers we specifically use and the colours available in the varieties they produce. But please remember flowers are a fresh product and as such sometimes we may have issues with certain products but we would always discuss this with you and show you the alternative before we do anything.

Once upon a time 6 to 8 weeks was enough, but with venues and weddings being booked far more in advance we advise a minimum of 6- 8 months for off season weddings (i.e not within end of April to end of August) and at least a year for in season weddings. But if you want a particular florist it is always worth a call to ensure they have availability. We still cater for last minute weddings, some we have done with less than a week to go!

We predominantly cover Dorset and the south coast. But we do travel further by arrangement and overseas.

Of course! We generally go and see both of our couples first thing whilst they are getting ready, depending on who is most nervous we tend to visit them first! It can be very reassuring seeing a familiar face with a few soothing words during the chaos of the wedding morning!

Yes we love to decorate churches and ceremony rooms, everything from chair sashes to arches. It can completely change the look and vibe of a venue. We go through the look you want at our consultations and work out how to make your venue totally amazing!

We have a large range of props for hire. Including log slices, milk churns, glassware, ladders, vintage suitcases, love letters, living trees, plants and topiary.
