About Love At First Sight Floristry

My approach to floral design is natural, bespoke and artful. I welcome creative briefs from couples who can’t imagine their special day without knock-your-socks-off flowers. The process begins with a consultation to learn all I can about your wedding - the fashion, the venue, the feeling you want guests to walk away with, and how my designs can enrich your celebration.

I work from a studio in Harpenden, West Hertfordshire, and happily travel to venues across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London, and further afield if the stars align.

FAQs

The average spend among my clients is around £2500, which usually includes a bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets and buttonholes, a large ceremony design such as an urn or meadow design, and around 8 to 10 gorgeous centrepieces, plus delivery and installation by my skilled team.

Yes, I offer complimentary online consultations to all my Bespoke Design clients with the option to meet at your venue for a walk-through as your wedding date approaches.

I work across Hertfordshire, London, and surrounding counties. Travelling further afield may be possible, depending upon your minimum spend and the logistics involved. It may be a greener option to choose a florist located closer to your venue.

I choose flowers that are in season and at their very best on the day I purchase them. This requires a little flexibility, so I can select flowers to really wow you. While I promise to search for particular varieties, I cannot promise they'll be available.

Eight to 12 months is ideal.

Yes, of course. If you're preparing for your wedding at, or close to, your venue I'd be delighted to deliver flowers to you and demonstrate how to hold your bouquet so your photographer gets the best possible images for you.

I love ceremony flowers. While it's only brief in comparison to the rest of your day, it's the most significant part and there's nothing more romantic than exchanging vows surrounded by flowers.

I offer a collection of antique crystal candlesticks, LED pillar candles, and glass hurricane lanterns for hire.

Our Sustainability Commitments

Sustainable practices are deeply important to me, so you wedding flowers will be seasonal, and British or European grown whenever possible. Foliage is usually sourced locally, so it's at its most fresh and vibrant. What you won't find is toxic floral foam, synthetic dyes or single-use plastics in my work, which sets me apart from many high-street florists. Green waste is always composted locally, and any flowers your guests didn’t grab on their way out the door will be donated to a local charity to spread the love.
