About Flower & Farmer

Our “Ready to Wear” and “DIY” wedding flowers are all grown on our farm. Their exquisite colours and textures, delicate scents and abundant seasonality are sure to capture the imaginations of you and your guests on this truly special day. You can either select from one of our colourways or choose your own. Whichever you do, your flowers will always be unique as no day is ever the same on the farm.

A few things to note:
• You can choose from one our "Ready To Wear" colourways or we can work to your colour and design scheme.
• All flowers are grown by us. This way we can ensure the highest quality of the flowers and that they’re grown in an eco-friendly way that is kind to soil, insect, animal and bird life.
• Working with the seasons means it can be difficult to guarantee a particular flower but we’ll always incorporate it if we can. We will always seek to recreate the colours and style you have asked for, using the finest seasonal ingredients available at the time of your wedding.
• Fresh flowers are only available during our growing season which spans the months of late March through to early October. Our dried flower range is available throughout the year.
• We have a minimum spend of £350 and this increase to £500 if you wish to visit the farm to choose your own flowers.

Our Sustainability Commitments

Growing flowers requires an intimate understanding of the earth, the weather and the seasons. Every year, we are increasingly conscious of the impact of climate change on our plot and the alarming rate at which change is occurring. This serves as a constant and pressing reminder to develop and improve our practices to produce the most environmentally friendly flowers we possibly can. From spring through to autumn, the fields are a-buzz with insects and we work hard to maintain a balanced ecosystem on the farm. We operate environmentally friendly farming practices. For instance, we have almost entirely phased out single use plastics; we use soil blocks and long-life trays to avoid single use plastic pots. We improve soil fertility and structure with animal and green manures (rather than artificial fertilisers) and we utilise the “no dig” / “minimum till” method of cultivation to minimise the release of carbon. We avoid fungicides and pesticides, opting for biological means of controlling pests, such as introducing lacewing larvae to eat aphids. We don’t use chemicals to preserve vase life, instead we cut our flowers at their prime and deliver them so fresh that they still have a fabulous vase life.
