Our 4 bedroom rental Gîte in Clerac provides a peaceful haven for guests of weddings at Château Fengari. It's ideal for 6-8 guests, with space for up to 14. Situated on the edge of the village of Clerac, within easy walking distance of the Chateau, this private gîte offers a secluded retreat with a swimming pool, expansive garden, terrace and sun deck. If you are hosting a wedding in the Chateau you can be assured your guests will be comfortably accommodated before and after the wedding.
Perfect guest accommodation for weddings at Chateau Fengari. The gite is in the village of Clerac, 40 minutes north east of Bordeaux and less than an hour from the towns of St Emillion and Cognac.
We welcome guests attending weddings at Chateau Fengari to rent our private 4 bedroom gite. The house is designed for outdoor living, with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, terrace, sun deck, BBQ and fire pit, within a 10 acre private garden o the edge of the picturesque French village of Clerac. We cater exclusively to holiday rentals and wedding guests attending nearby Chateau Fengari.
A Tranquil Escape: Unwind in our spacious and comfortable gite, featuring 4 large double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area. Step outside to bask in the sun by the pool or on the sun deck, or relax in the jacuzzi, on the terrace or in the tranquil garden, with sunset views across private fields and woodlands on the edge of Clerac.
Convenience at Your Doorstep: As there aren't taxis in the Clerac area,, your family and friends will love our convenient location just a short stroll from Chateau Fengari, ensuring they can attend the wedding festivities without any hassle. The charming village offers a small supermarket with fresh French produce, a fabulous boulangerie for your morning croissants, and a local convenience store with épicerie for any daily needs. There is an excellent restaurant, a weekly open air market, a children's play area, tennis and petanque. Clerac is a central point of an 1800km network of walking, cycling and horse riding trails, with a mix of woodlands, vineyards and tiny villages to explore, so your guests won't want to leave!

We've enjoyed hosting family and friends of couples getting married at Chateau Fengari for many years. Our gite is a rustic family holiday home, with 4 double bedrooms, plus sofa beds and bunk beds, and a huge dining / living room. We recommend a 3 night stay, so you can fully relax the night before and after the wedding day and enjoy the house, pool and jacuzzi. You won't want to leave!
