With extravagant decor at every corner, The Crazy Bear at Beaconsfield provides a uniquely decadent hotel and wedding venue. Despite being the oldest building in the town, the hotel strikes an incredible balance between original charm and dramatic modern luxury. On arrival, we received a complimentary glass of champagne, before being showed to our suite.
We passed through the hotel's stunning bar; with high glass ceilings, sumptuous velvet seating and twinkling gold chandeliers - we were intrigued to see the rest of the hotel. The suite decor at the Crazy Bear was above and beyond our expectations, with a chic modern kitchen and VIP booth lounge area. The bedroom was exceptional, with red velvet ceilings, black leather flooring and a giant copper bathtub which filled up with water from the ceiling. The giant marble wet room had a heated floor for added luxury. Although the suites can set you back £500 a night, they are definitely worth it for those ultra special occasions.
With a choice between two Crazy Bear restaurants for dinner, we chose the hotel's English Restaurant rather than the Thai. With individual table booths decorated with elaborate chandeliers and diamante studded cream leather, the restaurant continued the hotel's quirky decor.  The food was delicious, offering a selective menu with meat locally sourced from their Crazy Bear farm.
After overhearing a couple discussing the sensational toilets, we thought we better explore ourselves. The head to toe mirrored walls gave the toilets a glamorous Alice in wonderland feel with magical fountain style sinks.
The Moroccan Lounge was the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail - relaxing on the sumptuous red sofas, surrounded by moroccan lanterns and gold ornate mirrors.  The Moroccan Lounge is a popular function room for parties or weddings, offering a unique space with a chilled vibe.
The hotel offers a wide range of facilities, including their Library, Hunting Lodge, Moroccan Lounge, Millennium Room and Champagne and Oyster Bar. The outdoor terrace area also offers a pool and hot tub, which looked great for Summer parties or weddings. Whether you're looking for a romantic meal, weekend getaway or wedding venue - The Crazy Bear is a truly unique location which offers memorable and quirky decor at every turn.
