This hotel based spa has extensive facilities including a gym, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a whirlpool, a steam room, monsoon shower, a relaxation room, retail area and treatment rooms.
In addition to the main spa facilities there is an outdoor pool in a sheltered walled garden with sun loungers around the pool and on the lawn. It is heated year round and is perfect for a lazy sunny afternoon.

If it's treatments you're after, there are a number of treatment rooms including a double room for couples, or mother and daughter treatments. Each room is completely unique, with contemporary panels on the walls and matching soft furnishings - a real contrast to the clinical feel you can get at some spas!
The spa has a large number of members which adds to the atmosphere without making it feel busy, and we had no difficulty in booking the treatments we were hoping for, even at the last minute. We tried the Elemis Bio-Tec Facial, which actually delivered the visible difference it promised, along with a blissfully relaxing session of reflexology from a therapist who could tell far more about me from my feet than I thought possible.
The spa staff here are exceptional. Most have been at Bishopstrow for some time and are clearly dedicated to both the spa and the hotel. Many brides arrive a day early for their wedding purely to be pampered by the team and made to feel special. For brides wanting a relaxing spa weekend with their bridesmaids, or couples who want a romantic day or two, Bishopstrow spa is a perfect choice for you.

What we love?
The heated pool in a sheltered walled garden within the hotel's grounds is a lovely addition to this spa.
