Connected to the main house, but offering a stand-alone, independent space, the enhanced West Wing has undergone an extensive £1.2 million refurbishment to cater specifically for weddings and corporate events for up to 220 guests. Now a self-contained, dedicated wedding space, inclusive of six event rooms, ballroom, bridal dressing suite and groomsmen suite, is fully licensed for civil ceremonies.
With a variety of banqueting rooms with panoramic views over the gardens, Down Hall is the perfect backdrop for elegant ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and receptions with a selection of packages available to help you create the perfect day, no matter the budget. On-site wedding co-ordinators will guide brides and grooms-to-be seamlessly from initial consultations right up to the big day with creative ideas and years of valuable experience organising exceptional events.

Down Hall’s recently refurbished 98 bedrooms have been individually designed to reflect the elegance and character of this historic property, whilst providing modern day comforts. The 50 rooms in the hotel’s West Wing are decorated in traditional heritage colours with bright accents in classic country house-meets contemporary chic. Classic and Executive bedrooms are spacious and comfortable whilst Feature rooms boast luxury two or four-poster beds and views over the landscaped gardens.

Dining at the hotel champions British cuisine with menus that pay homage to the produce grown in the hotel’s kitchen garden and surrounding areas. The team of skilled chefs have ample experience in catering for varying guest numbers across a wide range of private and fine dining events, with delicious menus carefully curated menus for each special occasion. Accompanying any great menu is, of course, a delectable selection of wines, alongside arrival and toast drinks for your guests to enjoy.

Eden Spa is a luxurious boutique spa offering reviving, relaxing and rejuvenating treatments. With four treatment rooms, nail and manicure tables, the hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor terrace and relaxation area, Eden Spa is a great place to unwind before your big day. Each couple is given exclusive rates on treatment packages which the Wedding Coordinators can assist with. Every wedding celebration booked with us also receives a complimentary wet spa pass for two to use either the day before or after the wedding.
