Brunch at La Fontaine
You'll want to get dressed up for brunch at La Fontaine at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. This beautiful restaurant is the epitome of a luxurious brunch experience, making it an ideal choice for a hen party in search of something sophisticated to enjoy in Sin City. La Fontaine specialises in elevated French cuisine, inviting guests to indulge in classic brunch dishes reimagined with a modern twist.
The restaurant's elegant ambiance, featuring glass chandeliers, soft pastel décor, and luxurious finishes, sets the stage for a memorable celebration. Our verdict: This is a must visit if you are looking for a boujee activity to elevate your hen do. You can opt for the bottomless Champagne as part of your meal, starting from just $45 per person. This is the perfect addition to help you truly celebrate. When we attended, the highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the soufflé pancakes, which were fluffy, airy, and absolutely delicious. The freshness of the fruit plate complemented the pancakes perfectly. For larger groups of up to 14, La Fontaine also offers private dining experiences, ensuring an exclusive and unforgettable moment.
ARTE Museum
The ARTE Museum in Las Vegas offers a serene and captivating daytime experience, making it an ideal choice for a relaxed and sophisticated hen party or for a calm morning activity. Lose yourselves in a world of mesmerising digital art installations that provide a peaceful and introspective atmosphere.
The ever-changing displays and soothing soundscapes create a calming and meditative environment, perfect for enjoying quality time with your closest friends. Indulge in a unique and artistic experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated for your other bachelorette activities.
Our verdict: This is the perfect calm activity to do as part of your hen do itinerary. Every corner of the ARTE Museum presents a unique and Instagrammable backdrop, perfect for getting cool and creative photos for your socials. When we attended, one of the main highlights was how hyper-realistic the exhibits were. In particular, we loved the GARDEN zone. We could have spent hours sitting and watching the show of artwork.
Attend a Show
If you are wanting to attend one or multiple shows in Las Vegas, there are plenty of options that are perfect for a hen do. Here are the shows we saw and what we thought of them to help you identify the best experiences for your bride.
Chippendales
Chippendales is probably the most iconic male revue show in Vegas, it's been running for over 40 years and it's showing no signs of slowing down. This legendary show is renowned for its athleticism, humour, and undeniable sex appeal. The dedicated researcher I am, I took one for the team and made sure to attend while in Sin City so that you can work out whether it's the right vibe for your bride during her bachelorette (it's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it!). And let me tell you that Chippendales is more than just a show... it's an experience.
From Cowboys to Game Shows and scenes reminiscent of 50 Shades, Chippendales taps in to everyone's secret fantasy with highly skilled dance performances, an electric atmosphere and a really friendly and approachable team and cast. The individual performances also felt specific to the personality of each dancer, with one Chippendale performing a stunning aerial / gymnastics display (which I did not expect but thoroughly enjoyed) and another a romantic shower scene. Alongside all the grinding, the choreography was very on trend and well executed and the staging was brilliant - as someone with a theatre degree, I did appreciate this!
The verdict: Chippendales is naughty but in a very good way and doesn't overstep the mark! There was some nudity, but it wasn't full frontal and there's a tonne of audience participation opportunity. We really enjoyed ourselves and the vibe of the whole show. I would recommend it to any hen do organiser looking for male revue show to attend.
Chippendales FAQs for Hen Dos
Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil
For a group wanting the elegance of Cirque du Soleil combined with the laughter and fun of a hen do, then Mad Apple should be high on the list of shows to see during your Las Vegas bachelorette. This show takes you on a journey through the vibrant streets of New York City, capturing the energy and excitement of the Big Apple from your seat in Las Vegas... and the excitement begins as soon as you arrive!
Before the main event the cast are already performing for and engaging with the audience, showcasing a handful of cool stunts and some comedic pre-show slapstick. You can grab a drink at the on-stage bar and get photos, setting the tone for the night. The drinks aren't extortionate either, considering the setting, this was a really pleasant surprise.
The show itself is a whirlwind of comedy, acrobatics, and electric live music from incredibly talented musicians and singers. Paul Ogata had us cackling during his stand-up set while the jaw-dropping aerial stunts and dance performances from the cast will leave you breathless. This is an 18+ show, so no kids in sight and allows for a touch of spice from some of the performances which will get you a little hot under the collar.
The verdict: Mad Apple is the perfect balance of elegance and excitement. The show's mature themes and risqué humour make it ideal for a hen do, while the stunning acrobatics give you everything you are wanting from a Cirque show. It really is the best of both worlds and will be enjoyed by your whole group!
DiscoShow
DiscoShow is a dazzling new production from Spiegelworld and let me tell you, it was beyond what I could have imagined! The show immerses you in the era, making you feel like you are in the heart of 1970s New York City's disco scene. This interactive experience is absolutely ideal for a hen do as it blends music, performance and dance in a vibrant celebration of the era while creating the feeling of actually being in a disco. With iconic hits performed, cutting-edge sound and set design (from a Tony Award winner no less!), you will be transported into world of freedom and expression with dressing up fully encouraged!
DiscoShow has everything you could want from a bachelorette experience: dazzling costumes, incredible dancers, a top-notch drag queen and hilarious comedy. A special shout out to the roller disco crew; the dancers were all amazing but it takes a special kind of talent to do that on wheels and execute perfectly!
The show was absolutely amazing all round but what truly sets DiscoShow apart from other shows on The Strip is the community vibe. The show encourages audience participation, making you feel like you're part of the performance with the set becoming a disco scene after the show for the dancing to continue. There were dance-offs happening between strangers and everyone in the room was having a wonderful time getting "lost in music".
Our verdict: Put DiscoShow on your Vegas experience list now! It's a truly unforgettable experience and ticks so many boxes for a bachelorette group. I would say it's a must-do for a hen do in Las Vegas.
Drinks at The Candy Martini Bar
The Candy Martini Bar in Las Vegas is located inside the I Love Sugar sweet shop near The LINQ. The bar features a unique theme with candy-infused cocktails and a bright atmosphere. There are a variety of specialty drinks on offer perfect for sharing, including gummy bear and cotton candy martinis.
The drinks look fabulous and are perfect for fun photo opportunities as well as pre-drinks prior to a night out on the Strip. You can expect a vibrant environment with candy-themed décor and upbeat music with drinks ranging from $15 to $50.
Our verdict: We saw that one of our industry friends had visited this bar to try their incredible "Show Girl" cocktail (featuring a tower of cotton candy) and knew we had to try it. The four of us shared the Gummy Bear cocktail. It was sweet and fruity, with plenty of alcohol. For a smaller group of four to six hens, three of the larger, sharing cocktails would be more than enough to get you ready for a night out on the Las Vegas Strip.
