About TDR
TDR Bridal Birmingham - The Dressing Rooms was founded in 2007 and has been helping brides choose their dream wedding dress ever since. The whole team at this award winning bridal boutique accept nothing less than perfection for every bride and work hard to create a luxury yet relaxed setting for you to try on dresses. TDR have the biggest range of wedding dresses in the West Midlands and are open 7 days a week including 3 late night openings to suit your timetable. They are wheelchair friendly, child friendly and have free parking.
Your Appointment
The incredible team of stylists are on hand to guide you through your appointment so that you feel comfortable and gorgeous when you do find the perfect dress! There are a number of different appointments on offer:
- A first time bridal appointment - 2 hours
- A comeback (for a bride who couldn’t decide their first visit) - 1 hour
- Accessory appointment, (to find the perfect veil and headwear) - 1 hour
- To try their own dress on for the first time (first try-on) - 1 hour.
They do not limit the number of guests that can attend; however, they advise 2-3 of your closest friends/family to help support and encourage you. After all, you want to be able to choose the dress that you absolutely love!
They have six dressing rooms, each with a different vibe and suited for different group sizes. You will be offered a refreshment, tea, coffee or perhaps some fizz will be your tipple of choice for this momentous occasion. The stylist will then chat to you about your vision and will pick 5-6 wonderful dresses they think you will love and then see what happens. They may even pull a 'wildcard' but fear not, they have so much knowledge about bridal gowns and ensure that you are their top priority, making it easy to say yes to your dream dress here!
The Dresses
At TDR there are over 400 dresses on offer from a large array of different designers such as Justin Alexander, Rebecca Ingram, Morilee, Sassi Holford and Enzoani as well as many more!
At TDR you can order sizes from 2-32 with over 80 dresses size 18 and above to try in the boutique. There is a huge array of styles too, ranging from princess, to boho, to fitted sexy, to ultra-sleek simple wedding dresses.
The team will be able to find the one for you by taking into account the details you're dreaming of while also sticking to your budget and taking into account the overall feel you want for your wedding day. Once you've chosen your special dress it will then be ordered to your size and all alterations are carefully undertaken by their in-house seamstress. They then lovingly steam, press, and pack the gown ready for the big day, including storage and insurance.
