The Rings
Do not forget the rings! Most wedding destinations will be able to provide a stand in or sell you an alternative if the worst happens, but for sentimental value’s sake, leave reminders absolutely everywhere and check a thousand times before you get on that plane. Also remember the obvious admin, identification certificates, copies of speeches - all the boring paperwork that you need to tick the boxes. Bridal jewellery is also often commonly forgotten, so if you’re planning to wear a special necklace or bracelet on your big day, make sure it’s all packed.
Medicine
Everything from hangover remedies to stomach settlers. Nobody wants to feel rubbish on their wedding day, or spend the morning hunting down a pharmacy that will hopefully understand their ailment and be able to provide a remedy, so get prepared in advance. Also if you have an allergy, particularly something like hay-fever, make sure you're prepared. These scenic destinations are often rife with pollen and insects which you might not be so familiar with, so make sure you have some tablets and insect repellant to hand to avoid any unwanted bites or snuffles.
Suncream
This may seem like an obvious one, but it’s surprising just how many brides are lobster red come the wedding day after trying to catch a bit of colour in the run up. Photoshop can work wonders of course, but prevention is better than cure. Pack plenty of suncream and perhaps head out to your destination a few days before so you can adjust to the weather.
