Our Sustainability Commitments

I believe that small, practical choices can help reduce the environmental impact of running my wedding photography business without compromising the quality or service my couples receive. My workflow is predominantly digital, from initial communication and planning through to image processing and delivery. Online galleries allow couples to view, share and enjoy their wedding photographs digitally, helping to reduce unnecessary printing, packaging and postage. When physical products are chosen, such as Wedding Albums, prints and presentation products, my emphasis is on quality and longevity. I believe beautifully made products that are designed to be treasured for many years are preferable to disposable or short-lived alternatives. I also carefully plan my travel for every wedding, consultations are often carried out remotely where appropriate, and unnecessary journeys are avoided wherever possible. Sustainability is an ongoing process rather than something I claim to have perfected. My aim is simply to make sensible choices wherever possible while continuing to provide the exceptional photography, personal service and finished products my couples expect.

Every love story deserves to be celebrated, respected and beautifully documented. I am proud to welcome LGBTQIA+ couples and have had the privilege of photographing many same-sex and LGBTQIA+ weddings over the years. For me, exceptional wedding photography is about the people in front of my camera — your relationship, your personalities, your families, your friends and all the wonderful moments that make your celebration uniquely yours. My approach is always relaxed, friendly and completely inclusive. There are no assumptions about roles, traditions or how your wedding “should” look. I take the time to understand you, what matters to you and how you want your day to be photographed. Whether you're planning an intimate civil ceremony, a traditional wedding, a large celebration or something completely different, you can expect exactly the same commitment, professionalism and attention to detail that I bring to every wedding. With 35 years of experience, I understand how important it is for couples to feel comfortable and able to simply be themselves in front of the camera. My aim is to create an environment where you can relax, enjoy your wedding and forget about being photographed. The result is a collection of genuine, emotional moments alongside beautifully crafted portraits that reflect who you really are. Your wedding isn't about fitting into somebody else's idea of tradition. It's your story, your celebration and your love — and it would be a privilege to photograph it.
