With over 20 years of experience, I combine unobtrusive documentary coverage with calm direction and beautifully composed portraits, capturing the emotion and atmosphere of your wedding without making the day feel like a photoshoot.
I’m a Cumbria-born wedding photographer with more than 20 years of experience and over 400 weddings behind me. My approach is calm, friendly and unobtrusive: I photograph the genuine laughter, quiet interactions and unexpected moments as they happen, while offering simple direction whenever it helps.
Coverage is available for full wedding days, intimate celebrations and Lake District elopements. Every couple receives carefully edited, high-resolution photographs in a private online gallery, with a preview selection delivered within 48 hours. Drone photography can also be included where the venue, weather and flight restrictions allow.
I photograph weddings throughout the Lake District and Cumbria, including Windermere, Keswick, Ambleside, Ullswater, Grasmere, Penrith, Carlisle and surrounding areas. My local knowledge helps with realistic timings, changing weather and finding beautiful locations without keeping you away from your guests for too long.
