Hello - I’m Russ, an East Yorkshire based wedding photographer at Capture The Day Photography and owner of Russ Kemp Photography and Studio russkempphotography.

Second only to spending time with friends and family, my time behind the camera is where I am happiest.

With over a decade's experience in portrait photography, I have found an inequivocabile passion for capturing beauty in the moment and there is nothing more beautiful than a couple in love, on their wedding day. Despite being predominantly Hull based, I am willing to travel to capture weddings near, far and even Internationally.

Being trusted to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments is my absolute privilege and, a very personal and intimate experience for couples.

With every couple and wedding being totally unique, I believe that the photographs should capture the individual style of the wedding day and the couple themselves.
Which is why I like to spend time with you, the couple, prior to the wedding to build a comfortable familiarity and get a feel for who you are together and what you'd most like from your day.
