Here’s how I keep things green: **🌿 Low-waste working** - Digital-first delivery — all galleries, contracts, and previews are sent electronically; paperless by default - Rechargeable batteries & energy-efficient Godox lighting — single-use batteries are never used on shoots - Minimal single-use plastics — memory cards, packaging, and supplies are chosen for low-plastic design; equipment is repaired and maintained rather than replaced whenever possible **🚲 Local & low-carbon travel** - Prioritising car-sharing, combined trips, and fuel-efficient travel wherever possible - Partnering with Cumbrian venues and local suppliers to cut unnecessary travel — supporting our community *and* lowering emissions together - For longer journeys, I offset travel costs through local tree-planting and conservation projects across the North West **📦 Responsible products** - When physical prints or albums are requested, I work with UK-based labs that use FSC-certified paper, water-based inks, and recycled packaging — supporting ethical British businesses - No excess promotional stock; flyers and cards are printed only on recycled paper and distributed locally **🌍 Always improving** - I’m learning and adapting as I grow — exploring carbon-neutral certification, zero-waste workflows, and new sustainable suppliers every season - Protecting our landscapes means everything to me: I leave no trace on location, respect wildlife, and keep Cumbria beautiful for every shoot
