I specialise in natural, authentic, documentary wedding photography for weddings across the UK. My style is relaxed documentary photography and focussed on people and moments, complemented by the family photos that matter to you, and some special elegant couple portraits. I don’t see myself simply a photographer but a storyteller, dedicated to capturing the essence of your wedding day for you.
Matt's wedding photography is focussed on the people and moments and capturing the story of your wedding day. The natural documentary photos are complemented by the family pictures that matter to you and a few special signature portraits. Matt is comfortable interacting with your guests and has a warm, easy going, relaxed approach and unobtrusive style. This ensures your moments remain authentic, and unscripted. If you are a little photo-shy, Matt specialises in making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and letting you be yourselves.
Matt's signature editing style is inspired the timeless elegance of classic vintage styles. The play of light and shadow, coupled with the simplicity of composition. Your photos will be edited with a blend of classic-meets-contemporary style which creates collections of warm, bold, and stylish images.

Matthew Ellacott Photography has a selection of packages to fit your plans whether you're planning an elaborate celebration or an intimate elopement. I will happily create a package that will perfectly fit your wedding plans. All full day packages include a sneak peek gallery, a full gallery of digitally high resolution images in colour and black and white, and a private website gallery that you can share with your family and friends.

Extended package - Full coverage of your wedding day plus a second photographer OR credit for a luxury wedding album £1800
Full Package - Full coverage of your wedding day plus second photographer AND credit for a luxury wedding album £2200
Matthew Ellacott Photography is fully insured, with the significant public and product liability required by luxury venues. I can provide certificates or liaise direct with your venue.

I am delighted to travel for the pleasure of photographing your wedding! All travel costs are included within 100 miles of my home in Oxford or within 60 miles of Bigbury on Sea in Devon.

I offer three standard packages plus a smaller weddings package.
My full day packages start from £1500. Smaller weddings begin from £300.
Your gallery will be ready in 4 - 6 weeks.
The exact number will depend on the package you book. An average collection includes several hundred. I plan ahead with you to make sure the moments that matter are captured!
I have a special package for smaller weddings and am happy to work out a bespoke package.
Both! I can arrange a second photographer and you can also add it as an option. This means you can capture more, for example the Groom's morning preparations.
