Signed By Charlotte creates beautifully crafted, modern stationery for weddings all across the UK. Choose from curated house collections or a fully bespoke design service, with everything from save the dates to invitations and on-the-day signage. Every piece is designed to capture your style and set the tone for your special day.

Your wedding stationery is the very first glimpse your guests will have of your special day - it sets the tone, builds excitement, and becomes a cherished keepsake. Based in Purley on the London/Surrey border, I offer a personal and collaborative service, with every detail created by hand and tailored to you. So whether you’re drawn to timeless calligraphy, hand-painted signage, or bespoke illustrations, I’d love to help bring your ideas to life.

You can choose to work closely with me on a completely unique suite of bespoke stationery, or select from my semi-customisable House Collections. Either way, your invitations and on-the-day details will be designed to reflect you and your wedding day perfectly.

My services include:
Save the Dates

FAQs

For wedding signage, I offer curated packages featuring popular sign combinations - a more cost-effective option than purchasing the signs individually. A minimum spend of £250 applies to wedding stationery orders including invitations.

I suggest sending save the dates up to a year before your wedding - or as soon as your venue is booked if you’re getting married when people are likely to be booking holidays (school holidays, Christmas etc) . If your wedding is less than six months away, it’s best to send invitations straight away so guests have plenty of time to plan.

At a minimum, include the who, what, where, and when: your names, the date, time, and location of your ceremony and reception. Invitations can also share extra details like dress code, transport options, accommodation, RSVP instructions, and your wedding website if you have one.

After our initial conversation, I’m happy to provide samples. Every project follows a clear design process, including detailed artworks and digital mock-ups.

Absolutely! I love working on bespoke designs!

A £250.00 minimum order applies to wedding invitations

Save the dates are usually sent around 8–12 months before your wedding, or as soon as your venue is booked if you’re marrying during peak holiday times. When to send invitations depends on whether you’ve sent Save the Dates: - If you have, invitations typically go out 4-6 months before the wedding. - If you haven’t, aim to send them 6-8 months before to ensure everyone has enough time to plan

Getting booked in as soon as possible ensures I can schedule you into my diary, but generally between 6-18 months in advance of the wedding is plenty of time. If you're looking for on-the-day signs and stationery, then please book in early as all of my signs are hand-painted and I can only accommodate a limited number of weddings each month. Having said that, still always get in touch as I sometimes have last-minute availability come up.

The process is divided into 3 stages: save the dates, invites, & on-the-day, each invoiced separately. Save the dates & invites are flexible, but changes after artwork approval will incur a reprint fee. On-the-day artworks are usually finalised 6–8 wks before your wedding to allow for production, hand-painting, & delivery. The table plan is the exception, to accommodate guest list changes, but it must be signed off 2 days before shipping. Last-minute changes may be possible for printed items.
