FAQs
YES - I tailor a proposal for every couple I work with detailing the items they require and estimated costs (due to the bespoke nature of how I work) This means that every couple only pay for the exact items and quantities they need.. no minimum orders.
Of Course! I recommend sending a save the date up to a year in advance of your big day. Anything more that that can confuse guests - you don't want them to turn up the right date but a year early! If your wedding day is less than 6 months away I would USUALLY recommend going straight for invites so your guests can have as much information as possible for planning their arrangements.
VITAL ~ Wedding Date/s ~ Wedding Venue/s ~ Wedding Ceremony Time / Evening Reception start time ~ End of night time (Last carriages) ~ RSVP by date ~ How to rsvp (addressed rsvp card or email/phone details) ~ Dietary Requirements if providing food on your day NICETIES / OPTIONAL ~ Dress Code ~ Gift List ~ Are children invited ~ Accommodation recommendations ~ Local Taxi numbers ~ Meal choices EXTRAS ~ Post / Pre wedding event details ~ Travel details ~ Venue / Location Map ~ A snippet of excitement from your day ~ Things to do in the area ~ Baggage tag for guests luggage on arrival at your venue if they can stay overnight. .. the list goes on :)
YES - Following an initial conversation I am happy to provide samples which will be relevant to your requirements. All projects follow a design process with design documents and PDF mockups.
YES YES YES
Quite simply no.
1 year - 6 Months in advance - Save the Dates 6 months - 3 months - Invitations For weddings abroad, or if you have alot of guests travelling from abroad to your day I recommend giving as much information as soon as you can up to a year in advance.
Giving me as much time as possible helps so I can schedule you into my work plan, but generally between a year and a year and a half in advance of the wedding is a good starting point to get in touch. Although I have completed an entire wedding stationery job in less than 2 months before!
I work on a concept, 2 stages of development, sign off and print basis. If you make changes to the design after the sign off stage these will incur additional fee's. We will work on save the dates, then invites, then on the day stationery as 3 different work stages, invoiced separately at each stage. As a rule of thumb I try and get the on the day stationery signed off and to the printers with 2 weeks grace for finishing. Last minute issues or changes to your day which require a change in stationery design / details we can and will try and accommodate these up to your big day... as long as re-printing and delivery is possible. And these will incur additional fees.
