This personalised service ensures that no detail is overlooked and that the wedding reflects your unique story.
As an all-inclusive wedding venue, Riverside take care of everything you need for your special day, from decorations and sound systems to delicious catering. You only need to provide the wedding cake and yourselves! Their permanent head chef, George Bennett, boasts over 40 years of experience and can create any style of catering, from hearty Scottish cuisine to elegant a la carte menus.

Our Sustainability Commitments
Since opening in 2018 we have not used any single use plastics, we reuse anything we can for example ice cream containers become storage for dry foods, light bulbs, party decorations. We up cycle our furniture so we reuse rather than buy new. We support other local businesses and collaborate with each other to help drive business. We turn off lights when we don’t need them and have not replaced any unnecessary halogens bulbs anywhere in the building. When we do replace old things with New, we purchase from manufacturers who use sustainable resources. We have a cupboard full of wedding paraphernalia which we have collected and stored from brides who wanted something particular but then had no use for it afterwards as well as our own items. We encourage all our brides to use our wedding paraphernalia store rather than buying new if we can make it suit the theme, It saves money and it helps sustainability. Are outdoor weddings enjoy beautiful surroundings of nature. Because sustainability is part of our concept our daily customers enjoy a very unique quirky environment when none of the crockery matches and there is always something interesting to look at from their table. The outside areas comprise of secondhand furniture which we’ve upcycled And repurposed indoor furniture which we no longer have use for so we are getting as much life out of it as possible. Our outdoor bar was built with whiskey staves From barrels which were no longer in use and the Bar top are live Wood shelves from one of the owners kitchen and we use an old chest freezer to keep the bottled beer cool. Riverside also enjoys a beautiful location where nature thrives, Whenever we have slow shifts and there’s not much to do we take it in turns to go out with a bin bag and a litter picker to keep the area beautiful. So if like us you are considerate of not being wasteful we are very happy to work with you to make your wedding as sustainable as possible.
