About Hamswell House
Hire the romantic orangery and gardens of award-winning Hamswell House - The ultimate setting for your marquee wedding. With your wedding taking place in our Orangery or under our 400-year-old lime tree. You will be surrounded by acres of private land with breathtaking panoramic views. The venue is situated in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Bath and Bristol and is under two hours from London.
The 18th Century orangery with its Cotswold stone roof and huge arch windows is a wonderful place to tie the knot or you can exchange your vows under the boughs of a 400-year-old lime tree.
After your marriage, you can celebrate with champagne and canapes on Hamswell House's amazing terrace. It has breath-taking panoramic views over the Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty.
When you are ready, explore the garden with its pergola with the 200-year-old wisteria, the 18th Century ornamental canal with its clusters of waterlilies and Neptune fountain, the Monk's Window, and the Knot Garden. The garden is perfect for capturing memorable Instagrammable images of your special day.
After drinks and canapes, the bespoke marquee provides the perfect ambience for the party of a lifetime. You have had the day before to decorate it, so it is exactly as you want it.
Our recommended caterers will serve you whatever you desire. And as we do not charge corkage, the champagne and wine can flow without breaking the bank.
As night draws in, the band strikes up... It is time for the first dance...
